Rebecca D. Scott, 55, formerly of Cuba, passed away Friday,
January 19, 2018 at her brothers home where she had resided for the past year
and after a battle with cancer. Born on September 17, 1962, in Cuba she was a
daughter of Robert and Lucille Thompson Scott.
She was a graduate of Belfast Central School Class of 1981. She had been employed as a custodian for the
Cuba Rushford Central School District for many years, prior to becoming ill and
taking early retirement. Becky was an avid bowler. She is survived by her brothers,
James (Deborah) Scott of Franklinville, Dwayne Scott of Liverpool; her sisters,
Mary Dunkirk, Bonnie (Daniel) Murra of Caneadea; several nieces and nephews. In
addition to her parents she was predeceased by a sister Karen Bell. In
accordance with Becky’s wishes there will be no Visitation or Memorial
Service. Burial will be in Maple Grove
Cemetery, Friendship. Arrangements are under direction of the Mark F. Rinker
