Wellsville Police arrested Roy W. Austin, age 32 of
Wellsville, charging him with Criminal Possession of Marijuana 5th. The charge stems from an incident that took
place on East Dyke Street when Wellsville Police were called to assist the
Allegany County Probation Department, following a home visit. Austin was processed, issued an appearance
ticket and released. Austin is due to
appear in Wellsville Village Court on February 20th at 4:30 p.m. Austin was additionally charged with a
Probation Violation. Austin was turned
over to the Allegany County Sheriff’s Department. Austin was due to be arraigned in Allegany
County Court at a later time.
