INTERSTATE 390: Livingston County Sheriff Thomas J.
Dougherty reports the arrest of an Angelica man for drug charges after a
traffic stop on Interstate 390.
On January 25, 2018, Deputy Shawn Whitford was assigned to
the Sheriff’s Operation Safe Interstate initiative and stopped a vehicle on
Interstate 390 in the Town of Geneseo for a NYS Vehicle and Traffic Law
violation.
During the course of the traffic stop it was discovered that
the passenger in the vehicle, 47-year-old Randy L. Frank, was allegedly in
possession of crack cocaine.
Frank was arrested by the Deputy Sheriff and charged with
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree. The driver of
the vehicle was issued a traffic ticket for the traffic offense.
Frank was turned over to Central Booking Deputies at the
Livingston County Jail for processing and pre-arraignment detention.
Frank was later arraigned and released in the Town of
Geneseo Court.
