Court: Richburg woman admits being impaired at wheel with child in vehicle

A Richburg woman who admitted to a felony crime has received probation from an Allegany County Judge. On Thursday, Rebecca A. McDonald, 54, was ordered to serve five years on probation after she admitted to driving drunk while a 12-year-old child was in the vehicle. McDonald was arrested August 22, 2017 after being stopped on Plum Street in Bolivar. She was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated with a child in the vehicle, a felony offense. In addition, Judge Thomas Brown revoked her license for one year, ordered her to three years ignition interlock, fined her $1,000 plus $520 in surcharges and told her she must attend a Victim Impact Panel. The case was prosecuted by assistant District Attorney Thomas Fuoco and McDonald was represented by assistant Public Defender Patricia Fogerty.
