Allegany County Sheriff's Blotter

Allegany County Sheriff Rick Whitney reports that on January 11, 2018, with the assistance of the Wellsville Police Department, Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office arrested Billie G. Walsniewski, age 41 of Wellsville on an Allegany County Violation of Probation Warrant. Wlasniewski was taken into custody by the Wellsville Police Department and turned over to Deputies. Wlasniewski was then processed and transported to the Allegany County Jail without bail pending an appearance in Allegany County Court at a later date.

Allegany County Sheriff Ricky Whitney reports that on January 11, 2018, Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office arrested Devon J. Hamilton, age 22 of Hume on an Allegany County Drug Court Warrant. Hamilton was taken into custody at the Allegany County Court Complex and transported to the Allegany County Jail without bail, and is to reappear in Allegany County Court at a later date for additional court action.
