5/19/24 1:30 p.m.- After investigating a 'neighborhood
disturbance' call in the village of Bolivar, state police arrested Jeffrey H.
Burdick, 43, of Bolivar. He was charged with felony second-degree
strangulation. He was initially detained but a check with the Allegany County
Jail confirmed that Burdick was NOT an inmate. Further court action is pending.
5/20/24 4:07 a.m.- Bath-based state police this
morning in the town of Bath arrested Austin L. Davis, 22, of Bolivar. He was
charged with felony BAC above .08% and lesser crimes of DWI, using another
vehicle without a required ignition interlock device and reckless driving.
Court action is pending.
