Across Allegany County, firefighters attend funeral

From all corners of Allegany County, firefighters and first responders, EMS & police, today attended the funeral of  40-year-old Travis L. Kinnicutt, the First Assistant Fire Chief in Richburg. He was a twelve-year member of the Richburg Volunteer Fire Company. Travis loved being a fireman, but also enjoyed hunting, riding UTV, and always went out of his way to help people.  He loved spending time with his children and family and was a devoted father and stepfather.

Today we said not only our goodbye to a friend but a member of the Richburg Fire Dept., a person who served NYS, Allegany County and all surrounding counties and States if called - Travis Kinnicutt (Richburg 501) and FEMA relief worker. Travis traveled the country to help those in need putting his own life on hold till what needed to be fixed, cleaned up or people safe at any moments notice or ring of the —alarm. Rest in peace and fly high my friend and I’m gonna miss the phone conversations all week about each other’s adventure and stories. There will never be another you in peoples lives….
