Wellsville Police,
acting on an Indictment Warrant issued by the Allegany County Court, arrested
Niquan V. Johnson, age 32 of Buffalo, charging him with 2 counts of Criminal
Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd (Class B Felony) and 2
counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 4th (Class C
Felony). The charges stem from
investigations into the illegal possession and sale of Crack Cocaine in the
Village of in October of 2019. Johnson
was located by the New York State Police VFW (Violent Felony Warrant) Unit
& US Marshall’s in Buffalo. Johnson
was turned over to Wellsville Police, processed and committed to the Allegany
County Jail without bail. Johnson is due
to be arraigned in Allegany County Court at a later date. He is currently detained without bail.
