Nancy was born in Hornell, NY and was a graduate of Wellsville High School and Alfred State. On December 27, 1958 she married Charles F. Wildman, who preceded her in death on July 5, 2015. Nancy spent much of her work life in administrative roles, including being a computer programmer with Air Preheater in Wellsville, NY. The role she loved the most was being an Administrative Assistant in the President's office of Miami University, Oxford, OH where she worked with students on regular basis, keeping her young at heart.
Upon retirement, Nancy and Charlie moved to Myrtle Beach with their Golden Retriever (Lucy) to live out their remaining years together ( "at the beach") as they had always planned. Nancy treasured time with family and you could always tell when they were together. The laughter echoed through any space they were in. Everyone knew the Driscoll family had gathered. The laughter was infectious. However, there was nothing more precious to her than time with her grands. She loved them beyond all understanding.
In addition to her parents & husband, Nancy is preceded in death by her eldest son, Charles L., who passed May 23, 1997. Nancy is survived by her sister Helen D'Arcy ("The Beav"), her other two sons, Brian R. of Cincinnati, OH, T. Greg (Jennifer) of Goldsboro, NC, her 4 grandchildren Madison N. ("Gigi Wigi") of Columbus, GA, Matthew C. & his fiancé McKenzie N. Rowland of Atlanta, GA, Paxton M. ("Honey Fudger") of Goldsboro, NC and Parker O. ("Chippy") of Goldsboro, NC. Nancy is also survived by beloved nieces, Debra (Brian) Meyers, Bridget Mertsock & nephew Chad (Jami) D'Arcy, who were more like an additional 3 children than nieces/nephews, as well as several nieces, nephews and great-nieces/nephews. There will be a celebration of life after a private graveside service in Wellsville, NY in July 2024.
