Comfort House
Press Release - In order to create more parking places, the Board of
Directors of the Hart Comfort House purchased the former Regan House that sits
directly in back of Hart House. This residence
will be dismantled and the property will become a parking lot.
We are looking for people or organizations to help us with
this project. As much as possible, it is
our goal to have most of the house reused in some manner. There is vinyl siding (if you have a small
house or cabin to redo), boards of different widths (plywood was not available
when this house was built), windows, true 2x4’s and 2x6’s, hardwood flooring, doors,
etc. If you are interested in any of
these materials and would consider a small donation of time or money to help
defray costs of leveling the house, please call Scott Swift, Executive
