Obituary: Clinton M. Lacy, 72, Greenwood

Greenwood-Clinton M. Lacy, 72, of Rock Creek Rd., passed away Friday (May 12, 2017) at Highland Healthcare, in Wellsville.
Born in Hornell, February 14, 1945, the son of Claude and Beth McBride Lacy, he had resided in the Hornell and Greenwood area his whole life. Clinton served his country during the Vietnam War in the United States Navy from 1964-1968. On April 14, 1978 he married the former Sue Eicher who survives. Clinton loved hunting, fishing and being outdoors. He was well known for his sense of humor. Clinton was a lifetime member of the Hornell VFW, he belonged to the Steuben County Color Guard, the Arkport American Legion as well as being a member of the NRA.
He was predeceased by his parents and 3 sisters; Alice Geffers, Beverly Sebesta and Donna Ringvelski.
He is survived by his wife Sue of 39 years, his son Timothy Lacy of Rincon, Georgia, 2 brothers- in-law; Edward (Kay) Eicher of Wellsville and Mark Eicher of Hornell, a daughter-in-law; Gina Lacy of Arkport, as well as many nieces and nephews.

The family will be present from 12-2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at the Bender - Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo St, Hornell, where funeral services will be held immediately following calling hours at 2 p.m., Deacon Robert McCormick officiating. Burial will be in Bath National Cemetery.
