Wellsville Police, acting on a Bench Warrant issued by the
Wellsville Village Court, arrested Matthew J. Ballengee, age 30 of Wellsville,
charging him with failure to appear in court and/or pay fines. Ballengee was processed and arraigned before
the Town of Independence Judge Howe.
Ballengee was committed to the Allegany County Jail on $1,500.00 cash
bail. Ballengee is due to appear in
Wellsville Village Court on May 23rd at 4:30 p.m.
Wellsville Police arrested Robert J. Slocum, age 42 of Wellsville,
charging him with Petit Larceny. The
charge stems from an incident that took place at Giant Food Mart in
Wellsville. Slocum was processed, issued
an appearance ticket and released.
Slocum is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on May 23rd at 4:30
p.m.

Wellsville, charging him with Forcible Touching. The charges stems from an incident that took
place on North Main Street in the Village of Wellsville on April 22nd. Torpey was processed, issued an appearance
ticket and was released. Torpey is due
to appear in Wellsville Village Court on May 23rd at 4:30 p.m.
Wellsville Police arrested Timothy J. Buell, age 44 of
Wellsville, charging him with Petit Larceny.
The charge stems from an incident that took place at the Giant Food Mart
on May 4th. Buell was processed, issued
an appearance ticket and was released.
Buell is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on June 13th at 4:30
p.m.
