Wellsville: Sona receives jail sentence in felony case

A Wellsville man who pleaded guilty to a felony crime will spend one year in the Allegany County Jail. On May 18th, Charles R. Sona, 45, of Pleasant Street was sentenced on his guilty plea to 2nd degree forgery. Prosecutors said Sona stole a credit card and forged a signature to buy prepaid cards at K-Mart in Wellsville. Judge Thomas Brown also ordered Sona to pay $875 in restitution.
