Obituary: Ann M. Strang, 73, Bolivar

BOLIVAR — Ann M. Strang, 73, formerly of Salamanca, died Saturday (April 29, 2017) at the home of her daughter in Bolivar. Born on March 31, 1944, in Salamanca, she was a daughter of the late Wiley T. and Marian L. Edmund Holt. On May 29, 1976, she married Mr. David Aaron Strang, who predeceased her Dec. 18, 1993. She was employed as a resident caregiver with JN Adams DDSO in Salamanca for 17 years prior to her retirement. She enjoyed playing bingo, playing cards and watching game shows. Surviving are a daughter, Angela (Brian) Hicks of Bolivar; four sons, David (Chrissy) Strang of Salamanca, Scott Strang of Wilmington, N.C., Brian (Rebecca) Strang of Salamanca and Matthew (Christina) Strang of Logan, Utah; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a great-granddaughter, Addisyn Ann Crawford; a brother, David Holt; and a sister, Marsha E. Glinsky. Friends may call Wednesday (May 3, 2017) at the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River St., Salamanca, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at which time funeral and committal services will be held with the Rev. Stan Scoville officiating.
