Unit 702 American Legion Auxiliary will be doing a deceased Auxiliary service in front of the post at 11 AM.
Monday, May 27th, 2024 Events – Veterans Memorial Park services will begin at 9:30 AM. Please plan to attend. Wellsville American Legion is doing a parade on Main Street Wellsville from Pearl Street ending at the Main Street Firehall. Parade will begin @10 AM. Services will then be done at Woodlawn and Sacred Heart Cemeteries and at Post 702 AL, 23 Jefferson Street, Wellsville, NY.
May is National Poppy Month for the American Legion Auxiliary. If you see a bouquet of Poppies, please place a donation (big or small) in the container and wear it or proudly display it to remember our fallen heroes. All proceeds will benefit our veterans.
Field of Flags are available for $5.00 donation for each deceased veteran card and proceeds are donated to LEEK Hunting and Mountain Preserve. This is being sponsored by Jones Memorial Hospital and local veterans clubs. Cards are available at any of these places.
