LEGAL NOTICE
ANNUAL ELECTION OF
THE CUBA JOINT FIRE DISTRICT
On December 8,
2020.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual Election of the Cuba
Joint Fire District will take place on December 8, 2020 between the hours of
3:00p.m. and 9:00p.m. at the
A. A. Arnold Community Center located at 4 Green Street, for
the purpose of electing three (3) Fire Commissioners, one for a one (1) year
term, commencing January 1, 2021 and
ending December 31, 2021, another for a three (3) year term, commencing January
1, 2021 and ending December 31, 2023, and another for a five (5) year term,
commencing January 1, 2021 and ending December 31, 2025. All voters registered
with the Allegany County Board of Elections on or before November 15, 2020
shall be eligible to vote.
Candidates shall have filed their names with the Secretary
of the Cuba Joint Fire District at P. O. Box 110, Cuba, NY 14727, no later than
20 days before the Election, November 18, 2020. The candidate must indicate
when filing their name which office they are seeking.
Absentee ballots are available from the District Secretary.
Masks are mandatory as is proper social distancing.
