Allegany County Launches Early Childhood Education and Development Coalition

Ardent Solutions, Inc. is pleased to announce the launch of the Allegany County Early Childhood Education and Development Coalition.  Thanks to grant funding from the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation: key stakeholders, providers, parents and caregivers, and community partners will be invited to join efforts to support families and children from birth-age 5.
“A child’s early years are the foundation for his or her future development, providing a strong base for lifelong learning and learning abilities, including cognitive and social development,” explained Helen Evans, Ardent Solutions’ Associate Director. “Well-established research continues to emphasize the importance of early childhood education as an essential building block of a child’s future success.”
Ardent Solutions is excited to welcome Ms. Robin Fuller as the new Early Childhood Development Community Engagement and Coalition Coordinator. Ms. Fuller has been a Childcare Director and Trainer for over 20 years. She earned her master’s degree in Early Childhood Leadership and Advocacy from University of North Carolina Wilmington.
“I have a passion for advocacy work and policy change,” stated Ms. Fuller.  Through her role as the Coalition Coordinator, Ms. Fuller will be working with partner organizations to plan activities and initiatives that will address family and early childhood learning; social emotional and developmental well-being; and school readiness.
For further information on the Early Childhood Development and Education Coalition, please contact Ms. Fuller at fullerr@ardentnetwork.org. Ardent Solution, Inc., is a not-for-profit rural health network whose mission is to create synergy within and between systems, organizations, families, and individuals that results in a strong culture of health and quality services for our community.
