Ulysses man jailed on felony strangulation charge

Coudersport-based State police report the arrest of Jeffery Dean Crum Jr., 35, of Ulysses. The arrest stems from an incident Thursday in Bingham Township. Crum was charged with felony strangulation, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and harassment with physical contact. Arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Christopher Kalacinski, Crum was remanded to potter County Jail when he couldn't post $20,000 cash bail. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for November 26 at 8:30 a.m.
