BREAKING: Larson charged with murder, manslaughter



William Larson Jr., 17, of Clarksville (although the police blotter says Bolivar), has been charged with two counts of intentional murder and two counts of first-degree manslaughter. The Allegany County Jail said he was not an inmate there. WRN learned that Larson was remanded to a secured detention facility in Buffalo and will return to Allegany County court Monday. New York State Police and Investigators returned to a home on Courtney Hollow Road in Clarksville...the scene of a fire and the discovery of two dead bodies around midnight Thursday. A person of interest, 17-year-old William Larson Jr., was taken into custody late Thursday afternoon following a daylong search. Troopers said the home will likely remain an active crime scene, at least through today. Police have not yet publicly identified the victims. The original story with background is HERE. On Thursday, November 21, State Police arrested and charged William J. Larson Jr., age 17, of Clarksville, NY, on two counts of Murder 2nd degree, a class A-1 felony, and two counts of Manslaughter 1st degree, a class B felony. Larson was arraigned and transported to the Erie County Youth Services Center, and is being held on $50,000 cash bail/$100,000 bond.

State Police are still working to positively identify the victims and their cause of death, and this incident remains under investigation.
