ANGELICA - , of 165 East Main Street, passed
away unexpectedly on Friday (November 15, 2019) at home.
Born in North Hornell, NY, April 12, 1963, the son of
Kenneth and Shirley (Doty) Patterson Sr., he was a graduate of Angelica Central
School “Class of 1981”and resided in California for many years, returning to
Angelica 3 years ago. He was a self-employed landscaper in California, and was
sought after for his work. Jody enjoyed BBQ’s, camping, fishing, going to
concerts, traveling, and spending quality with his granddaughter Emily.
He was predeceased by his parents, 2 brothers Duane
Patterson, and James “Jimmy” Cannioto, and a sister Linda Patterson Green.
He is survived by his fiancé and the love of his life Bonnie
Pendlelton Tears, a son Adam Patterson of CA, his daughter April Patterson of
CA, stepson David (Candi) Tears of Belfast, step daughter Shannon Tears of
Angelica, a sister Brenda (Ed) Fox of Wellsville, 3 brothers Ken (Cindy)
Patterson f CA, Larry (Crystal) Cannioto of GA, Gary Patterson of CA, 2
grandchildren Ryatt Patterson, Lucca Patterson, step mother Patricia “Pat”
Patterson of CA, a very special granddaughter Emily Mess, a grandson TJ Simons
Jr, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will be present 1-2 p.m. Sunday, December 1,
2019, at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 101 West Avenue in Angelica,
where a Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, with Pastor David Ford
officiating.
