Bolivar-Richburg school likely to present second project to voters - First project rejected

Administrators at Bolivar-Richburg school were caught off guard this week when voters said no to an $11 million renovation project for campuses in Bolivar and Richburg. The vote wasn't even close. The proposed work would not have increased taxes, administrators indicated. School Superintendent Michael Retzlaff told Wellsville Regional News "we were unsuccessful with our project vote. We were able to collect exit surveys from the community as they left...which will be reviewed by the Board and we will make a decision how to move forward. We do feel we will be presenting another capital project in the very near future and hopefully we'll have the community support based on the feedback we got from these surveys."
