- Charges are pending against a 34-year-old man from Genesee, PA after Troopers were called to Smoker Road for a man slumped over the steering wheel. Police said the man appeared impaired and was in possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana. He was taken to UPMC-Cole for a blood draw. Charges will be filed in District Court.
- Gas Field Specialists of Shinglehouse reported a theft that occurred on Dwight Road in Hebron Township. Two construction signs were stolen.
- State Police said a tractor trailer struck a parked vehicle near the intersection of N. Fork Road and Plumstead Road in Harrison Township. The trucker was identified as Ismaeil Bachar, 35, of Lancaster, PA. He was charged with turning movements and signals, careless driving, damage to unattended vehicle and driving on roadways laned for traffic.
- Troopers investigated an assault complaint with bodily injury and no weapon. The victim was listed an 18-year-old female from Alfred, NY. The alleged incident occurred at 3140 E 2nd Street in Sweden Township. The investigation is ongoing.
- Police investigated a vehicle crash on North hollow Road in Allegany Township. David L. Gebhard Jr., 50, of Genesee lost control on the ice, causing his SUV to strike an embankment and roll over one time. The driver wasn't injured and no tickets were issued.
- Troopers arrested John Waterman, 47, of Port Allegany. He allegedly was involved in a dispute with a 30-year-old man from Coudersport at 591 Costello Road in Portage Township, Potter County. Waterman allegedly assaulted the man for several hours wild holding him captive in a bathroom. The victim sustained several injuries. He was charged with making terroristic threats, unlawful restraint, two counts of simple assault, reckless endangering another person and harassment.
