State police are investigating after a body was discovered near the "old runway" area off Bolivar Road in the town of Wellsville. A state police investigator confirmed that Wellsville Rescue assisted with the removal of the person. The area, behind the Verizon store and next to Wellsville Manor/Manor Hills is vacant land covered with brush. We don't have a time frame on the discovery yet and details are scare.
