Born at Cape Cod Hospital on October 6, 1931, to Edwin & Ruth Pierce of Osterville. She graduated from Barnstable High School Class of 1949. She worked as a legal secretary for many years in Hyannis.
She leaves behind her loving husband, John, of 62 years; sons, Mike (Nancy) of Southhampton, MA & Red (Julie) of Carbondale, CO; daughters, Kathleen Weber of Bristol, CT & Karen (Kelly) Coffman of Marshfield, MO; along with her loving grandchildren, Christopher, Andrew & Ashley Weber; Jesse & Danielle Coffman; Anna & Cooper Cunningham; Melissa (Tucker) McWeeny and three great grandchildren, Cailynn Danneman, Declan & Madaket McWeeny. She also leaves behind her two brothers, Gerry (Eleanor) Pierce of Schenectady, NY & David (Barbara) Pierce of Hyannis, MA; along with many nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Meredith Pierce, Ruth (Peachie) Wolfgram & Carol Nobre.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 23, 2017. Burial was held in Hillside Cemetery, Old Mill Rd, Osterville.
