Wyoming County Deputies charge three in marijuana case

Three males are facing drug charges following an incident in the Village of Silver Springs Park.  Austin C. Romanelli, 20 of Silver Springs,  along with a 16-year-old male and an 18-year-old male were found by deputies in the Village of Silver Springs Park near the pavilion.  Following investigation, all three males were allegedly found to be in possession of marijuana.  Furthermore, Austin Romanelli was accused of providing the marihuana to the younger two males.  The 16 year old male and 18 year old male’s names are not being released due to their ages; however both were charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and then released to their parents.  Austin Romanelli was charged with Criminal Sale of Marijuana in the Second Degree (sale of marihuana to person under the age of 18), a class D felony, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.  Romanelli was arraigned in the Village of Warsaw Court where he was remanded to the Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $500.00 cash bail or $2,500.00 bond.  Romanelli was scheduled to return to the Village of Silver Springs Court on September 18, 2017 for further proceedings.
