Allegany County Sheriff's Blotter

Allegany County Sheriff Rick Whitney reports that on September 20, 2017 Deputies arrested Brock M. Burdick, 40 of Wellsville, on a Violation of Probation Warrant issued out of the Village of Wellsville Court. Burdick, was located by Deputies at an address in Belmont, processed, and arraigned in the Town of Amity Court where he was remanded to the Allegany County Jail with bail set at $1,500.00 cash or $3,000.00 bond. Burdick is scheduled to reappear in the Village of Wellsville Court on September 26, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. for additional court action.

Allegany County Sheriff Rick Whitney reports that on September 20, 2017 Deputies arrested Terry E. Sorensen, Age 40 of Bradford PA, on a Bench Warrant issued out of the City of Olean Court. Butler, who was being released from the Allegany County Jail, was processed, transported, and turned over to the Olean Police Department.
