Lori was a graduate of Tri-Valley High School and graduated
from SUNY New Paltz with a degree in psychology. She was a current employee of
Allegany County Department of Social Services serving in the Child Protective
Services department.
She was full of life, loved watching her children play
sports, cooking and most of all loved her family and friends.
Surviving in addition to her parents are her children, Cody
(Mariah Abel) Borden of Croghan, Samantha (Nick) Stenzel of Fillmore, Matthew
Borden of Belfast and was expecting a grandchild, a sister, Bridget Hurwitz of
Claryville, Thomas (Katrina) Matthews of Virginia and six nieces and nephews,
Adam, Meagan, Shaina, Brittany, Jenna and Trey.
Family and friends may gather from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and
7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Monday, September 25, 2017 at the Kopler-Williams Funeral
Home, 21 N. Genesee Street, Fillmore and from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. on
Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home in South
Woodbourne where a funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in
Claryville Reformed Church Cemetery, Claryville. Memorials if desired to:
