Jury convicts man in Andover assault case

A jury convicted a man on several counts during a trial Monday in Andover Village Court. Anthony R. Ford, 26, of Ohio was found guilty of 3rd degree assault, criminal obstruction of breathing and endangering the welfare of a child, all class A misdemeanors. The charges were filed by police after a domestic disturbance call in November 2016. Village Justice Steve Heckman scheduled sentencing for December 11, 2017.
