Coudersport, PA - Edward R. Wyse, 66, formerly of Canisteo, passed away Sunday (September 17, 2017) at Charles Cole Memorial Hospital in Coudersport.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, April 14, 1951, he was the adopted son of Harley and Marion Collins Wyse. Ed spent his early life in Canisteo and attended Canisteo Central School. He was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force in 1970. Following his discharge, Ed became a long distance truck driver; a profession he enjoyed for over 30 years. Ed was a member of the Wellsville American Legion Post, former member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Wellsville, and long time member of the Wellsville Ambulance Corps. He resided for several years in Tennessee.
He was predeceased by his adopted parents and his birth mother, Madeline Bulavage.

He is survived by his daughter, Lynn Wyse of Coudersport, PA., two sons; Edward (Tina) Wyse Jr. and Glenn (Angela) Wyse both of Tennessee, several brothers and sisters, seven grandchildren; Anthony Palmiter, Steven Schuster, Caitlin Schuster, Michael Wyse, Mickey Wyse, Haley Wyse,and Justice Taft, two step grandchildren; Austin and Noah Loveday.
Family and Friends are invited to a Celebration Of Life Service to be held on Saturday (Sept. 23, 2017 )from 1-3 p.m. at the Wellsville Ambulance Corp., Main Street, Wellsville, NY 14895.
