Chemung Co. DA Named “Prosecutor of the Year"

At the New York District Attorneys’ annual Summer Conference, Chemung County District Attorney Weeden Wetmore was honored with the Prosecutor of the Year Award.  Wetmore was nominated by the DAs of Ontario and Schuyler counties, mainly for his work in the Kelley Stage Clayton murder trial.  Wetmore was appointed as a special prosecutor in the Steuben County murder case which ended with three men being convicted. Wetmore told media that he is “very honored and humbled.”
