New York State Police Blotter – June 2, 2025
6/2/25 7:50 p.m.- After receiving a complaint in the
town of Yorkshire, state police arrested Dustin J. France, 36, of Fillmore. He
was charged with one count of petit larceny. He was released on an appearance
ticket for court.
6/3/25 12:03 a.m.- State police were called to a
reported domestic dispute in the village of Alfred. As a result, troopers
arrested Michael A. Grecheck, 39, of Alfred Station. He was charged with
attempted third-degree assault to cause physical injury. He was taken to the
Allegany County Jail to await Central arraignment.
6/2/25 10:42 a.m.- Olean-based state police conducted
a traffic stop in the City of Olean. Following an investigation, troopers
arrested Cassondra Rae Shoup, 34, of Cuba. She was charged with felony
aggravated DWI with a child in the vehicle, obstruction by preventing an official
function, child endangerment, resisting arrest and driving while intoxicated.
At the same time, troopers also arrested Christopher Gene Shoup, 36, of Cuba.
He was charged with obstructing governmental administration. Both were
processed and released on appearance tickets for court.
6/3/25 1:31 a.m.- After investigating a complaint in
the town of Andover, state police arrested Kevin L. Cobb, 61, od Andover. He
was charged with second-degree criminal contempt for allegedly disobeying an order
from the court. He was transported to the Allegany County Jail for Central
arraignment.
