New York State Police Blotter – June 15, 2025
6/15/25 7:56 a.m.- After investigating a disorderly disturbance
complaint in the village of Belmont, Amity-based troopers report the arrest of
Lee M. Wheaton, 30, of Belmont. He was charged with second-degree menacing with
a weapon. He was taken to the Allegany County Jail to await Central
arraignment.
6/16/25 12:43 a.m.- Troopers were ask to respond to a
domestic dispute in the village of Bolivar. Later, state police arrested
Michael S. McDonald, 44, of Wellsville. He was charged with two counts of
second-degree criminal contempt for allegedly disobeying a court order. Court
action is pending.
6/15/25 1:38 p.m.- State police from the Hornell
barracks said they were called with a two- vehicle crash at the intersection of
State Route 248 and State Route 417 in the town of Greenwood. Troopers said
three people reported injuries. The drivers were reported as Mary B. Burley,
34, of Arkport and Jessica E. Gerrior, 48, of Durham Ave, New Hampshire. No
other details were available.
