Ruth M. Baillargeon: Mother, Grandmother, Sister
Ruth M. Baillargeon, 82, of Belfast, New York, passed away Monday, June 16, 2025 at Highland Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Wellsville, after an illness.
Born on November 26, 1942, in Moravia, New York, she was a daughter of Paul S. Mead, Sr. and Ruth E. Weddigen.
Ruth worked for the New York State Department of Transportation from 1987-2009 out of the Caneadea Shop.
She enjoyed some travel throughout her life.
She is survived by; three sons Doug (Robin) Harrison, of Belfast, Mark Harrison of Chatsworth, Georgia, and Lee Harrison, of Belfast; her grandchildren Tyler, Katy, Morgan, and George; a brother Alan (Vi) Maynard of Whitesville; a sister Evie (Ted) Mattes of Union Springs, New York; a sister-in-law Ardith Lee, of Clifton Springs, New York, and several nieces and Nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her step father Neal Maynard, and her siblings Francis, Laura, Paul, and Karen.
The family will receive friends at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc., 9 Bull Street, Cuba, on Thursday, June 19, 2025 from 2-4 P.M. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Friday, June 20, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. Pastor Claudia Little, will officiate.
Burial will be in Oramel Cemetery, Oramel, New York
