Obituary: Thomas Lee SWEIGART, 56, of Cheswick, PA

Thomas Lee SWEIGART, 56, of Cheswick, PA, died Friday, June 13, 2025 in Olean General Hospital after being stricken at his parents’ home in Port Allegany.  Born September 4, 1968, in Ephrata, he was the son of Jeffrey M. and Mary Jane (Meashey) Sweigart.  He was employed by King’s Family Restaurant in Fox Chapel for 15 years and by Two Men and a Truck in Bethel Park as a dispatcher for 17 years.  He was a member of New Creation P.M. Church, formerly First Primitive Methodist Church of Pittsburgh.  Surviving are: his parents, Jeffrey, Sr. and Mary Jane Sweigart of Port Allegany; a brother, Jeffrey M. Sweigart, Jr. of Tiltonsville, OH; a sister, Gina M.  Impavido of Allison Park; three nieces; two nephews; a grandniece; aunts and uncles; and a stepdaughter, Amy Kasperowski of Tampa, FL.  He was predeceased by his wife, Cynthia A. Stokes Sweigart, on March 23, 2023; and a step-son, Terry Kasperowski.  A service to celebrate Tom’s life will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 5, 2025 in New Creation P.M. Church, 5225 Holmes Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15201.  Rev. Andrew Jerome will officiate.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to New Creation P.M.
