Bridge on Cunningham Creek Road to Close for Replacement
Starting June 30
BATH, NY — Steuben County Commissioner of Public Works Eric
Rose has announced that the bridge on Cunningham Creek Road over Cunningham
Creek, located between Windfall Road and County Route 29 (commonly known as the
Canisteo-Hornell Back Road) in the Town of Hornellsville, will be closed to all
through traffic beginning Monday, June 30, 2025.
The bridge, officially designated as Bridge No. 17-29-01
(BIN 2217180), is scheduled for a full replacement. The existing structure will
be removed and replaced with a new concrete box culvert to improve safety and
longevity. The project is expected to take approximately 16 weeks to complete,
weather permitting.
There will be NO ON-SITE DETOUR.
