Thanksgiving – Advent Service
The Cuba Council of Churches plans to hold its annual
Thanksgiving – Advent Service on Sunday, November 29, 2020, from 6-7 o’clock in
the evening, at the North Park Wesleyan Church (32 Spring Street). As always, there will be prayer, scripture
readings, music, a sermon, a report about the successful CROP Walk held in
October, and an opportunity to assist the Cuba Food Panty/Holiday Assistance
Program.
While in person attendance is limited to approximately 50
people willing to wear masks and socially distance, there is no such limit for
those wishing to attend virtually. This
service will be broadcast though Facebook Live, where virtual “Watch Parties”
are encouraged for those finding and signing in at the North Park Wesleyan
Church Facebook Page.
This time of year holds special meaning for Christians
everywhere. The Cuba Council of Churches
hopes to reach even more people than we have during our Pre-COVID services in
recent years by using technology, thereby keeping participants safe. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend
