Veronica was born on Oct. 18, 1970 in Wellsville to Leo Norman and Sandra Lee (Barrett) VanHorn. In 1999, she married John NeuHaus who predeceased her in 2002.
Veronica is survived by her children Brandon Mathews, Ashley Mathews, Joshua Smith, Mathew Smith, Nichole Smith, Katie Smith, and Brianna NeuHaus; her sisters Robin (Tom) Louwerse of Genesee, Pa., Bobbijo (Darryl) Puccinelli of Olean; her brother, Tim (Jamie) Rice of Wellsville; and a special friend, Rob Slocum of Wellsville; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by both of her parents.
Veronica’s children and nieces and nephews were dear to her and she had a special relationship with her mother.
An Hour of Reflection will be held on Saturday (April 11) from 1:00-2:00 p.m. for the immediate family at Baker-Swan Funeral Home in Wellsville. A private funeral service will be held at 2:00 officiated by Rev. Carl Kemp of Knights Creek Methodist Church.
