Steuben Sheriff, Bath PD make drug bust

Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard reports that on Friday, April 24th, 2020, as a result of the efforts of a joint investigation of the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office and the Village of Bath Police Department, deputies of the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office arrested the following after a traffic stop on Seneca Road in the Town of Hornellsville, New York:
 
-Tommie J. Bostic, age 51,of Bennett Street, Hornell, New York
-Kenneth T. Turner, age 31, of West Washington Street, Bath, New York
-Dianne L. Prouty, age 57, of Upper Glen Avenue, Hornell, New York
 
During the traffic stop, deputies say they observed a large amount of crystal methamphetamine, marijuana and cash in the vehicle. Deputies, Sheriff’s Office Investigators and the Bath Village Police Department Investigator continued an investigation which included the execution of two search warrants in the Village of Bath, New York, and the total seizure of approximately 350 grams, or just under one pound, of crystal methamphetamine valued at about $37,000 in street value, about 67 grams of marijuana valued at about $500 and $6,000 in cash. It is alleged that Mr. Bostic, Mr. Turner and Ms. Prouty were in possession of the drugs and cash. All three were charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Second Degree, a Class A Felony. Mr. Turner and Ms. Prouty were arraigned and released on the Class A Felony to appear in court at a later date. Mr. Bostic was additionally charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the Third Degree and Failure to Signal a Turn, and is alleged to be on NYS Parole. Mr. Bostic was arraigned and remanded to the Steuben County Jail.
