...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM EDT FRIDAY...

* WHAT...West winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 60 mph
  expected.

* WHERE...Livingston, Ontario, and Allegany counties.

* WHEN...From midnight tonight to 1 PM EDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will bring down some trees and power
  lines. Scattered power outages are expected. Travel will be
  difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

The Wellsville Airport clocked a peak wind gust of 40 mph Thursday evening. Heavy rains have also brought the Genesee River at Wellsville to near minor flood stage. At midnight, the river level at Wellsville was over 10 feet.

At 1 a.m. National Grid said 39 customers were without power in New Hudson. NYSEG reported 21 customers without power on Irish Settlement Road in Belmont/Ward. RG&E reports 67 customers without power in Angelica, Belfast, Hume, Clarksville, Genesee and Allen.
