The Town and Village of Bolivar, Allegany County Office of Planning, and Alfred State College’s Design Studio Course are pleased to invite you to attend this evening’s final Community Visualization Study Presentation in Bolivar:
WHO: Alfred State Architecture Students will present their vision for a revitalized downtown and vibrant public realm to Bolivar community members.
WHAT: Community Visualization Study Presentation to Bolivar Community Members
WHEN: TONIGHT – Monday, Nov. 4 – 7 P.M.
WHERE: B-RCS High School Gym
WHY: The Town and Village of Bolivar created a joint Comprehensive Planning Committee in February of 2019. In August, this committee released Bolivar’s first ever Strategic Plan, prepared with the Alfred State students’ project in mind. After viewing and evaluating the final product of the Alfred State students’ work that is being presented this evening, the Planning Committee will discuss and incorporate the aspects of the new vision for Bolivar into their Plan in order to plan for future growth and pursue future grant funding opportunities to make these projects a reality.
Community members will have an opportunity to ask the Alfred State students questions and voice their feedback on the presentation. Individuals from the Town and Village Planning Committee, Allegany County Office of Planning, and Alfred State College will also be present to answer questions from the media following the formal presentation.
