LIVINGSTON COUNTY/ROCHESTER: Sheriff Thomas J. Dougherty
advises the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office performed their first Veteran
transport to Honor Flight in Rochester.
The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office was honored to
provide Ed Sparks of Conesus a courtesy transport to and from the Rochester
Airport for Honor Flight this past weekend.
Mr. Sparks is our very first veteran that we have provided
transportation to Honor Flight but we hope this is the first of many.
Any Livingston County Veteran residing in Livingston County
going on Honor Flight is eligible for a courtesy transport by a uniformed
Deputy Sheriff both to and from Honor Flight. Veterans can reach the Livingston
County Sheriff’s Office at 243-7100 to schedule the request.
