Wellsville: Kathryn Ross added to WQRW's information lineup

WELLSVILLE - Veteran newspaper reporter Kathryn Ross has been added to the information team at WQRW radio in Wellsville. The station broadcasts at 93.5 FM and also streams on the TuneIn App. For thirty-five years, Ross worked for the former Wellsville Daily Reporter. Her new program is called Kathryn's Corner. Station owner Robert Pfuntner said the show will air three times a day Monday thru Friday at about 9:38 a.m., 1:38 p.m. and 6:38 p.m. The new segment will feature interviews with Wellsville area newsmakers and review local events.
On April 15th, the radio station developed a local news schedule, with the first morning newscast airing before any other regional radio station. The local news segment airs at about :20 past each hour between 5:20 a.m. and 9:20 a.m. Pfuntner said his plan is to expand the local news coverage to the afternoon drive time by early summer.
