Belfast man arrested after vehicle crash in Genesee Falls

Wyoming County Sheriff’s Dispatch received a call of a motor vehicle accident on Rt. 19A in the Town of Genesee Falls at 2:47 a.m. Sunday. Deputy A.J. PREVITY arrived on location to find an overturned pickup truck in the ditch with three people out of the vehicle. The driver of the pickup, Kameran L. Olcott, 20, of Belfast was found to have no injuries. The two passengers needed medical assistance.  Nunda Fire Department and Pike Ambulance were dispatched to the scene. Pike Ambulance transported the two passengers to Wyoming County Community Hospital where they were treated and later released. 
Deputies allege that Olcott was impaired and was arrested and transported to Warsaw Police Department for a breath test.  Olcott also had a suspended driver’s license. He was charged with Moved from Lane Unsafely, Aggravated Unlicensed Operator in the 3rd, D.W.I. and Driving with a .08% B.A.C. or Higher. Olcott was arraigned in the Town of Genesee Falls Court and held on $500.00 cash/$1,000 bond. He was transported to the Wyoming County Jail for commitment. Olcott is to appear in the Town of Genesee Falls Court on a later date.
