Penelope was a long time resident of the Wellsville area who
had graduated from Nunda Central High School. She worked most of her life in
retail sales including the shoe department at the Wellsville K-Mart. She later
worked at the Texas Hot Restaurant from where she retired.
Survivors include 5 sisters, Sandy M. Jackson of Wellsville,
Kay [Bill] Bennett of Perry, Ellen [Joe] Carr of Colorado, Melinda [Bob]
McMaster of Orchard Park, and Kim [Rube] Jenkins of Hornell; several nieces and
nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; 2 brothers, Kevin
Richard Carr, and Frederick James Carr II; a sister, Nancy Jean Hayes. There
will be no prior visitation and a burial service will be held at the
convenience of the family in Fairlawn Cemetery. Memorials in her name may be
