Ella Mae Robinson “beloved wife, mother and grandmother”
PORT ALLEGANY- Ella Mae Robinson, 79, a longtime resident of
Port Allegany and a former resident of Roulette, passed away with her loving
family by her side on Friday, July 20, 2018, in UPMC Cole, Coudersport, after a
long illness.
Born August 12, 1938 in Gardeau, she was a daughter of
Abraham and Ada Ostrum Lewis. On
February 2, 1960 in Keating Summit, she married William K. Robinson, who
survives.
She attended Emporium schools. Ella Mae was a devoted wife,
mother and homemaker. She was a member of the Women of the Moose Chapter 2188
in Port Allegany for many years. She
loved to play Bingo. Her greatest love
was her family.
Surviving besides her husband of 58 years are eight
children, William K. Robinson II of Port Allegany, Robin R. (Kenneth) Robinson
of Roulette, Loretta P. (Clark) Barber of Port Allegany, Jim Archer of Port
Allegany, Ed “JR” (Linda) Archer of Port Allegany, Deb (Gary) Dubois of South
Dakota, Richard (Deb) Archer of Roulette, and Linda (Pete) Ayers of Port
Allegany; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces
and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Ella Mae was predeceased by a
sister, Genevieve Archer; and a brother, Raymond Lewis.
In keeping with Ella Mae’s wishes, there will be no public
visitation or funeral services. Burial
will be in Card Creek Cemetery, Roulette.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Ella Mae’s name may be made
to the Port Area Ambulance Service, 22279 US 6, Port Allegany, PA 16743.
Ella Mae’s family has entrusted her care to Kevin J.
Dusenbury, funeral director/owner of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home,
Shinglehouse.
