The Independence Historical Society, located at 540 Main St., Whitesville, NY
will be open to the public on Tuesdays and Saturdays for two hours each of those days over the next two months.
The Society would like any area residents interested in viewing the displays,
looking for information on relatives or about what was in the area
in the past to come in and see us.
The Society is also interested in obtaining family artifacts,
pictures, genealogies, or other papers. We are willing to make
copies if it is items you wish to keep. We would like the history.
Supporting your local Historical Societies by loaning or donating memorabilia
or volunteering is a way of keeping local history alive.
