Almond Village Board asked to resign

ALMOND — According to Village of Almond officials, they’re trying to ferret out an unexpected pest at the municipal building.
Tuesday’s monthly meeting of the village board came with several developments, including a 2 percent tax increase in the coming fiscal year. But stealing the spotlight from village business was the revelation that a chinchilla is on the loose in the municipal building; and the fact that a small faction of disgruntled voters would like the board to resign.
