New York State Police charge Shinglehouse man

On January 12, 2018, Olean-based Troopers arrested Daniel R. Terrette, 31 of Shinglehouse, PA, for Petit Larceny, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th, and an outstanding arrest warrant.
On Friday at about 5 p.m., Troopers responded to the Walmart store in the town of Allegany for a shoplifting complaint where Terrette was arrested for allegedly stealing $538.31 of merchandise.  Following a search of his person, subsequent to the arrest, Terrette was allegedly found to be in possession of Suboxone. He was released on appearance tickets for Petit Larceny and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th returnable to Allegany Town Court at a later date and time.
While in state police custody it was determined Terrette had an outstanding arrest warrant from Wellsville PD and he was turned over to them following processing.
