Cuba woman injured when school vehicle overturns in Cattaraugus County

A school bus driver and monitor were injured Tuesday when the bus allegedly ran a stop sign, crashed through guard rails, traveled down an embankment and overturned on its passenger side. The crash occurred at 6:48 a.m. at the intersection of Bone Run Road and West Perimeter Road in the Cattaraugus County town of South Valley. A four year old child was on the bus and was not hurt. The bus driver was identified as 55-year-old Louis Gagliardo of Olean. He sustained a shoulder and neck injury. The monitor, 55-year-old Tracy Treadway of Cuba, suffered a back and neck injury. Both were taken to WCA hospital in Jamestown. The bus driver was issued a traffic ticket. The 2009 Suburban mini bus was owned by Corvus Bus and Charter.
