Obituary: Anthony Changose Jr., 88, Almond

Almond - Anthony Changose Jr., 88, of Chapel St., passed away Friday morning (December 8, 2017) at his home.
Born in Hornell, February 9, 1929, the son of Anthony and Thelma (Ebersold) Changose Sr., he had resided in Almond and Hornell areas his whole life. On October 23, 1959 he married the former Ruth Marie Mullen who predeceased him in November. Tony was employed by A.L. Blades where he was a mechanic and truck driver. He honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Tony and his wife were the caretakers of the Lake Lodge in Alfred. He enjoyed camping, Bingo, going to the casino and ramming around town, but nothing could compare to his grandchildren of which he adored and loved spending time with.
He was predeceased by his wife Ruth Marie (Mullen) Changose on November 17, 2017, sister Patricia (Floyd) Gillette and a brother Joe Changose.
He is survived by 4 sons; Gary Brutsman of Hornell, Chris (Teresa) Changose of IN, Michael (Auralee) Changose of Arkport, and Joseph (Tori) Changose of GA, 10 grandchildren; Becky, Amber, Chad, Christopher, Kimberly, Sydney, Kelsey, Cassandra, Morgan and Lilie, 10 great-grandchildren, a sister Marilyn and Al D’Apice as well as several nieces and nephews.
